Jamie Sinclair’s name had begun to become known in Canadian curling circles, but the Carleton Ravens definitely were not – that is until the March 19-23 national women’s university championships, when Sinclair’s rink of third Lauren Horton, second Lynn Kreviazuk, lead Jessica Armstrong and alternate Sarah Armstrong walked away as champions in Regina.

Homegrown Hinz caps career with final crown

It just had to end the way it did. Tyson Hinz completed a remarkable five-year career with the Carleton Ravens holding the Canadian Interuniversity Sport men’s basketball championship and tournament MVP trophies in front of a hometown crowd at the Canadian Tire Centre.
