The roads travelled have been very different for two Ottawa cyclists, but their paths have now met on the Garneau-Quebecor Cycling Team. Alex Cataford and Mike Woods are two of 13 members on the prominent Canadian cycling team that races across North America and further, including the May 17-20 Grand Prix Cycliste Gatineau.

Ottawa Bicycle Club members too home eight medals in total from the mid-September Canadian championships in Moncton. Vincent De Haitre won three silver and a gold in junior races, Bailin Xie earned a junior bronze, Keltie Campbell won U17 silver as did Derek Gee, and Connor Byway earned gold in U17.
