Ottawa Gymnastics Centre celebrated a big weekend at the Ontario Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Championships Apr. 6-9 in Mississauga, with five men and four women landing on the all-around provincial podium.

A 3rd-place finisher all-around in the junior high-performance category at the Apr. 21-23 Eastern Regional Championships in Toronto, Haley Miller was one of three athletes from the Kanata Rhythmic Gymnastics Club to qualify for the 2017 Canadian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.

Haley Miller of the Kanata Rhythmic Gymnastics Club recorded a 3rd-place finish in the rope event at a competition in Italy while on tour with Team Ontario. The early-July trip also included a week-long training camp with former Olympian Aliah Garaeva, a 2011 all-around World Championships medallist who competed for Russia and later Azerbaijan.
