Kanata Rhythmic earns world event spot

The Kanata Rhythmic Gymnastics Club received confirmation in mid-August that they receive a full 15-minute time slot for their performance at next summer’s World Gymnaestrada, an international event held every four years that’s again expected to draw over 20,000 participants to Helsinki in 2015.

Haley Miller was one of the star performers at the Kanata Rhythmic Gymnastics Club’s Spring Gymnaestrada. The 11-year-old provincial-level athlete has a fourth-place rope finish under her belt this season from a qualifying event for the provincial championships, set for June 7-8 in Toronto.
