In July, three local minor lacrosse tournaments helped set the stage for a number of Ottawa players to take on the best in the country at the Canadian Championships. The 2nd Gloucester Girls Summer Shootout ran from July 8-10, welcoming over 500 athletes making up 33 teams from Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New York.

Glebe also gets a ticket to the provincials thanks to an additional host berth as Ottawa gets set to welcome Ontario’s best for the May 30-June 1 championships at Twin Elm Rugby Park.
