Jessica Hong of the National Capital Wrestling Club was Ottawa’s top performer at the Apr. 7-9 Canadian Cadet/Juvenile Wrestling Championships in Windsor, winning a bronze medal in the cadet women’s 43 kg category and also placing 3rd in the national team selection competition.

A total of 182 athletes participated in the 13th-annual National Capital Wrestling Festival on Jan. 14 at Maurice-Lapointe high school in Kanata. National capital wrestlers combined to give the host club a combined record of 50 wins and 20 losses in their matches.
