The Ottawa Mavericks went undefeated in 9 matches, dropping only one set throughout the competition, to win the 17-and-under boys’ gold medal at the Apr. 11-13 Ontario Volleyball Championships in Waterloo.
Louis Riel’s team of underclassmen went undefeated at the provincial championships to win their third consecutive OFSAA ‘A’ Boys Volleyball title. Of the team of 10, five were part of last year’s championship team. All team members are eligible to return next year.
